Mysuru: Home Minister G Parameshwara said that the state government will initiate serious action against those who have threatened Minister Priyank Kharge.
Speaking to media persons in Mysuru on Wednesday, he said, “We have taken the issue of threat calls to Kharge seriously. Unless there is a serious action, such incidents will not stop. We are trying to trace the culprits based on the numbers, from which he is receiving threats.”
About banning RSS activities in public places, he said, “Kharge has expressed his opinion and the state government has considered it seriously. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will decide on it.”
Parameshwara said that some people are trying to hamper the image of brand Bengaluru for political reasons, by tweeting on pot holes, but none can do it. He said, “It is a fact that the roads are damaged due to rains. We have taken up the works to repair them. Google had its own reasons to go to Andhra Pradesh. We are providing all basic infrastructure to industries. We will invite them and talk to them.”
When asked about BJP’s claim on ‘November Revolution’ in Karnataka, Parameshwara said, “The BJP is just chanting about it. Let them do it. There are no such developments within the Congress.”
