The groom Tavon who had visited the country a couple of times, was attracted to the Indian culture and tradition. He was greatly interested in the religious traditions and its practices and also had great faith in it.

Tavon always wanted to marry following the Hindu customs. He came with Asuka, a girl whom he was attracted to, back to India. He had earlier come in contact with Dr Ashok Kundapur and his wife Pramila Kundapur in the Sandeepan English medium school in Khabadakone.

He got in touch with them  who helped him in marriage arrangents. The marriage took place in the presence of Honnavara’s Krishna Bhat. All Hindu customs like homa, dhaare, maangalya dhaarane and saptapadi were performed. Tavon is an expert in graphic design and printing, while his wife Asuka is a graduate and looking for a job.
