JD(S)-Cong govt will collapse on its own: DVS

The coalition government will collapse on its own due to the tussle among the partner parties, Union Fertilisers Minister D V Sadananda Gowda said on Wednesday.

“The parties in the government are moving different directions. There is unending struggle among the partners. Where is the governance in the state?” he said.

Speaking to reporters here, he said the winter session was unlikely to run smoothly as the chief minister and his cabinet colleagues were not on the same page on several issues.

If the JD(S)-Congress government collapses, the BJP would form the government by taking the support of like-minded MLAs, he said.
