Kalaburagi: The third additional senior civil judge in Kalaburagi collapsed in the court and died of cardiac arrest on Monday.
Vishwanath V Muguti (43) was posted to Kalaburagi on June 2. He is survived by his wife and a daughter.
“He came to office after breakfast in the morning and collapsed in his seat due to chest pain. Another judge shifted him immediately to Jayadeva Hospital. But the doctors there confirmed that he had died en route,” said Guptalinga S Patil, former district president of Bar Association. Patil said Vishwanath joined judiciary in 2014 and had served at several places including Davangere and Hassan.
