Bengaluru: The car used by state BJP president B Y Vijayendra was found violating traffic rules at least 10 times by the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) installed at junctions.
Cases have been registered against the car (KA03 MY 4545) for violations that include travelling without wearing a seatbelt, speeding, jumping the signal and crossing through zebra crossings. Based on a 50% discount, a fine of Rs 3,250 was levied. Fines pending since 2020 have now been paid.
