Bengaluru: Justice Tara Vitasta Ganju took oath as a judge of the High Court of Karnataka in the city on Tuesday.
Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru administered the oath at a ceremony held on the premises of the high court.
With her appointment, the court now has 49 judges against the sanctioned strength of 62.
Justice Ganju primarily practised in the Delhi High Court and was appointed as a permanent judge there on May 18, 2022, before being transferred to Karnataka.
