Mangaluru: Kaavi art works, by Udupi based Kaavi artist Dr Janardhan Rao Havanje, were exhibited as part of the 'Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav' being organised at Amrit Udyan in Rastrapathi Bhavan premises in New Delhi.

Various art forms from South India are being displayed at the exhibition held under the theme 'Enjoy the best of South India' and Kaavi art is one among them. The exhibition inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday, is open to the public from March 6 to 9.

Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot visits the exhibition venue at Amrit Udyan, Rastrapathi Bhavan, Delhi and greets the artist.

Kaavi artist Janardhan told DH when contacted that he felt proud and privileged to be part of the exhibition and featured Kaavi art.

He felt happy to receive the President and also Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot at his stall on the inaugural day, he added.

Havanje is one among the DH – Changemakers 2025 awardees.
