Speaking after releasing a book ‘Nenapinangaladalli Tejaswi’ by Halekote Ramesh at a function organised by Taluk Kannada Shaktikendra here on Saturday, she said the government should also make way for internal reservations while implementing reservations for women in order to give sufficient representation to the women belonging to all classes.

Kuvempu and Tejaswi were the wonders of literary world. The contributions of the father-son duo towards building the universal brotherhood philosophy is indeed great, she said.

Nadoja Hampa Nagarajaiah said the books written by Shivarama Karanth upholding scientific temper are the guiding forces for the present day generation. In the same way, Tejaswi too wrote realistic things.

In his inaugural address, Kuvempu University former VC Dr K Chidanand Gowda said Karanth, Kuvempu and Tejaswi were the writers who were beyond the borders of caste, religion and politics.

Vismaya Pratishtana President Gangaiah Hegde presided. Author Halekote Ramesh, Rajeshwari Tejaswi among others were present.
