Mysuru-based folk artiste Kamsale Kumaraswamy has been selected for the state-level 'Janapada Prapancha Award'.
Every year, Kannada Janapada Parishat, Bengaluru, awards senior folk artistes of the state.
The award will be presented on January 28 at Panditha Siddharama Jamabala Dhinni Ranga Mandira at Raichur, according to a press note from H Kyathanahalli Prakash, president of the Mysuru unit of the Parishat.
