Bengaluru: As many as 219 senior state police officers and police personnel have been selected for the 2024 Chief Minister's medal.
Among those awarded also include members of the Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) who were instrumental in the recent surrender of Maoists in Karnataka.
Some of the prominent names in the list are Hemant Nimbalkar, Director, State Intelligence; Sudheer Kumar Reddy, Joint Director, State Intelligence; Anoop A Shetty, Superintendent of Police (Cybercrime division), CID; and CK Baba, Superintendent of Police, Bengaluru Rural district.
