Alur (Hassan): Around 30 men and women from the taluk working as home caretakers in Israel are safe, according to their family members.
But the kin of the 30 people from Matadakoppalu, Naviluhalli and Badagipura villages under Magge gram panchayat - who are working as caretakers for the past nine years in Israel - are anxious in the wake of its intensifying conflict with Iran and Israel.
But the families are hopeful of the safety of the caretakers since they are in touch with them on the phone.
People from these villages have been working at Ashdod and several places in Israel. As many as 21 people were working in Israel for nine years now and nine went there in the last three years.
“My wife Ansila works as a home caretaker at a house in Ashdod city of Israel. She used to speak regularly to me over phone earlier. Now, due to the war situation, she speaks once in the morning and once at 11 pm,” said Stany of Naviluhalli.
Stany said his wife told him that a war siren is sounded to warn the public and a message is sent to their mobile phones. They immediately go to the bunker for safety. There is a ban on people’s movement. However, she told him that there was no anxiety as of now, he said
