He said this while responding to a question about increasing internal conflicts in the BJP, here on Monday. He claimed that the party has "suffered enough from internal conflicts and unwanted public statements." "As I am aware of my responsibility as the president of the party's state unit, I have not made any public statements against party leaders and the party for the past one year," he claimed.

He went on, "I have been fighting against the corrupt and evil Congress government by taking everyone into confidence. There is an internal democracy in the BJP. Such a systematic and organised election for the election of the presidents of the mandal and district units cannot be held anywhere else."

He further said that everything will happen as per the decision of the party high command. "The people of the state, party workers and MLAs are aware of the work that Vijayendra has done in the party organization. I am confident about everyone's cooperation, and I am confident that I will continue as the president of the BJP state unit," he said.
