Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was taken to hospital here on Sunday after facing severe pain in his left knee.
Siddaramaiah was wheeled into Manipal Hospitals, Old Airport Road, where doctors examined him. They said that the pain had occurred due to excessive pressure on a ligament tear that happened earlier. The hospital said that there was no need to worry. However, doctors have advised the chief minister to call off his engagements for the next two days as he requires rest.
