Bengauru: The Karnataka government has approved a proposal to replace the slouch hats of head constables and police constables with navy blue peak caps.
In an order issued on Wednesday, it was said a meeting will be headed by Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) KSRP on August 7, at 4 pm, to decide on the tender process and for preparing specification and master samples.
The proposal to change the design was long-standing as the current constabulary hats were causing discomfort, an official said.
