Justice M Nagaprasanna also ordered issuance of emergent notice to the complainant BJP and adjourned the hearing to February 20.

The BJP alleged that the Congress leaders had released a false advertisement in all mainstream newspapers on May 5, 2023 against the then Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai under the title ‘Corruption Rate card’.
