Kushalnagar: A businessman from Kushalnagar, who was injured in a tragic swimming pool accident in Chikkamagaluru, has passed away.
The deceased, Nishanth (35), was the owner of a mobile gallery in the town. He had traveled to Chikkamagaluru along with a group of ten bikers for a trip.
On Saturday, while swimming in a 4.5-feet-deep pool at a homestay, he suffered a spinal cord injury upon jumping in.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and later shifted to Mangaluru for advanced treatment. However, as his condition did not improve, he was shifted back to Kushalnagar and passed away on Sunday.
