Mangaluru: A 45-year-old man who walked into a mosque in Bolwaru flashing a sword was overpowered by residents and handed over to Puttur police on Monday.
The accused has been identified as Raju from Hassan and a case was registered under Indian Arms act, 25 (1B) (6), 110 of BNS.
Police have been interrogating him to get more information on the motive behind the act, police sources added.
