Karnataka minister Zameer Ahmed Khan gifts Rs 50,000 to karate champ

Housing & Minority Welfare Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan on Friday gifted Rs 50,000 to Mohammed Tahir, a boy, who bagged gold at the Karate championship held in Jakarta, Indonesia, recently.

Zameer had booked flight tickets worth Rs 65,000 for Tahir who could not afford to make the trip for the tournament.

Zameer donated Rs 2 lakh to 12:3 Global Organization, which works for persons with special needs.
