Bengaluru: Only one student from Karnataka has secured 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains session 1 held last month, whose results were announced on Tuesday.
Kushagra Gupta, a Karnataka student is one among the 14 students across the country, who have secured 100 percentile in the JEE Mains session 1.
Other toppers from the state who have secured 99.99 and above percentile are: Udit Jaiswal, who secured (99.996 percentile), of Geethanjali Vidyalaya, Kaggadasapura, Bhavesh Jayanth (99.9992 percentile) from Sari Chaitanya Techno School Marathahalli, Daksh Tayalia (99.993,) a student of Sri Ram Global School, Whitefield.
Udit Jaiswal attended coaching at Allen and is interested in aerospace and rockets. Bhavesh Jayanth is interested in coding and aims to join Computer Science at a top Indian Institute of Technology by clearing the JEE Advanced.
Daksh Tayalia attended coaching at Vedantu and is an Olympiad enthusiast. He has also won a gold medal at the Olympiad held at Brazil. He is eyeing to join the IIT Bombay.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of JEE (Main)-2025, session-1 on Tuesday evening.
This year, the list of students who secured 100 percentile, also includes a girl student. Highest toppers were from Rajasthan with five students securing 100 percentile. Delhi and Uttar Pradesh has two students each in the toppers’ list.
A total of 12,58,136 candidates appeared for the examination held at 618 centres in 304 cities, including 15 cities outside India.
