The fifth edition of the Kodagu Champions’ League (KCL) will be held from April 3 to 7, at Karadigodu playground.

Speaking to reporters, KCL committee president Rejith Kumar said that the tournament is being organised by the City Boys Youth Club of Siddapura.

As many as 10 teams have already been enrolled and two more teams may take part.

Applications have been invited for the bidding process of the players from the district. The bidding will be held on March 25.

The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 1,10,000 along with a trophy. The runners-up team will bag a cash prize of Rs 55,000.

Umpires and scorers registered with Karnataka Cricket Association will arrive for the match, he added.

City Boys Youth Club president A S Mustafa, KCL members Afzal, Ratish, Shahul, Shafir, Anish, Cheluva and Shafique were present at the press meet.
