The Karnataka Examinations Authority has opened the option entry process for the second extended round of counselling from Thursday, July 17, 2014.
As per the seat matrix hosted on the KEA website, there are 444 medical seats in general category, 98 in H-K quota and 17 special category seats. In dental, there are 56 available seats in general quota, 48 in H-K quota and 3 in special category quota.
In addition, there are 473 engineering seats in general quota, 41 in H-K quota and 16 in special category. In architecture, there are 15 general seats, 1 H-K quota and 1 special category seat. There are 877 management surrendered seats as on 17 July.
The option entry will be open till July 21, 2014. The seat allotment will be published on July 22. The last date for reporting to colleges is July 28, 2014.
