Gangavathi: A 34-year-old tourist from Kerala drowned in a lake near Sanapur in Gangavathi taluk on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Cyril Jose. According to police, the tourist was staying at Basapur.
On Dec 17, Jose left to explore places nearby and did not return. The following day a missing complaint was lodged. After two days of search, the body of Jose was found floating at Sanapur lake. A case has been registered.
