Congress councillors Shamraj, Rasheed Khan and Muttu Kumar assaulted Bhaktavatsalam, who was proceeding towards Kolar Gold Fields from Kolar and decamped with 36 grams of gold jewellery, a cash of Rs 7,000 and records of the City Municipality, according to the complaint lodged by the City Municipal Council, president. He has been admitted at general hospital for treatment.
BEML police have registered a complaint against the
councillors.
