Responding to recent allegations that medical negligence had caused a toddler to lose her forearm in Mandya, Dr Narendrababu has clarified that he didn’t give any injections to the girl.
In a press release, he said, “When I was on duty, Harshita was brought to the hospital by her parents. After examining her, she was admitted to the children’s ward. I gave instructions to the junior doctors to administer drips, but didn’t give the injections myself.”
Later, the child was transferred to surgery department and then sent to Bangalore for further treatment.
