Tumakuru: Madhugiri MLA and former minister K N Rajanna was unanimously elected president of the District Central Cooperative (DCC) bank for the sixth time on Thursday.
All 14 directors elected are supporters of Rajanna, paving the way for his unanimous election. By taking charge of the bank once again, Rajanna has reaffirmed his stronghold in the district’s cooperative sector. He has maintained control over the bank’s administration for nearly 3 decades.
