Kodagu bids adieu to valiant soldier

The dead body of the soldier was flown to his native village at 6.30 am from Bangalore. Before taking the body to B Badga, Deputy Commissioner K H Ashwathnarayana Gowda, Superintendent of Police Manjunath Annigeri, Kodagu Gauda Vidya Sangha President Hosuru Ramesh Joyappa and others offered floral tributes to the soldier.

The dead body was kept open for public to offer tribute for some time.  Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah, Tahshildar T Rekha, Taluk Panchayat President H S Subhashini, Vice-President Chithra Nanaiah, Gram Panchayat President P D Muthanna among others offered floral tributes to the slain soldier.

District Armed Force personnel accorded a guard of honour and then the body was taken for last rites. Kuttana Ravindra was the son of Shankar-Sharada couple of B Badaga village. He had been serving the Madras regiment core for the last 10 years.  He was deputed at J&K about 8 months ago from West Bengal.
