Hundreds of villagers undertook Sathyanarayana Vratha and cooked food together and enjoyed the meal at the historical fort constructed by Shivappa Naika 500 years ago.
The villagers with their families partook in the pooja. They visited different parts of the fort they enjoyed the scenic view from the fort.
Venkatappa Gowda from Adhada village used to perform such pujas from the past 35 years.
His son Nagraj is continuing the trend started by his father. Chandrasekhar, Anoop, Harishchandra, Adhada Satish, Vijaykumar, Prasanna and others helped in preparing the food and arranging the Pooja.
