Bhandary will be presented with the award during a ceremony at Delhi on November 18. Bhandary is the founder of Durga Engineering, who has already developed different innovative agricultural paraphernalia so far.
He is the recipient of Governor’s award for research in agricultural equipment and another award given by Zee Kannada channel with the same purpose. The areca peeling equipment developed by Bhandary is said to have the capacity of peeling off 25 kg dried areca in an hour.
