Speaking after inaugurating the newly built First Class Judicial Magistrate Court building here on Sunday, Adi said that he would strive to bring the court considering the problems people face in the region.
He called upon advocates to be honest and build confidence in people about courts.
“People will approach courts, only if they have trust in judiciary with regard to speedy delivery of justice,” Adi said adding that the society has the responsibility of creating awareness on laws, rights and duties among people.
Advocate’s duty
He said that an advocate’s duty is to fight for the well-being of the society.
Everyone in the society should work with social concern, he added.
Chief whip of the government D N Jeevaraj presided. Bar Association president Ganapathi, Public Works Department executive engineer Nagaraj and District and Sessions Court judge Ratnakala were present.
