Bengaluru: The Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) has been awarded the second prize in the State Energy Efficiency Performance Award (SDA Group-1) category at the National Energy Conservation Awards 2024.
The award ceremony, organised by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) under the Ministry of Power, was held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on December 14 as part of the National Energy Conservation Day celebrations.
The award was received by KP Rudrappaiah, Managing Director of KREDL.
Emphasising the critical role of energy conservation in combating climate change and global warming, Minister for Energy KJ George reiterated his department’s commitment to clean and green energy initiatives, focusing on raising awareness and improving energy efficiency across sectors.
