Water inflow into the river Krishna and its tributaries receded again on Monday. River Krishna and its tributaries --Doodhganga and Vedganga --are flowing at normal levels.

All low-lying bridges in Chikkodi, Raibag and Athani taluks are now open for vehicular traffic. Low-lying bridges in Raibag and Athani taluks opened for traffic last week.

Bridges in Chikkodi taluk are now open. And the Kallol-Yadur bridge, that was underwater for over a month, remained open for traffic on Sunday..

Water inflow into river Krishna and its tributaries came down to 32,147 cusecs on Monday.

Water inflow from Rajapur barrage came down to 24,403 cusecs and 7,744 cusecs from the river Doodhganga.

Inflow into Hippargi barrage was 55,000 cusecs and outflow 54,000 cusecs.
