Vidhana Soudha police detained over 14 people around 11 am and let them go at 5 pm, according to the FIR. Based on a complaint filed by a police officer, Vidhana Soudha police have booked the protesters under BNS section 126(2) (wrongful restraint) and 189(2) (unlawful assembly).

“The KRV had planned to lay siege to KPSC, claiming that the commission had cheated students. Though they were sent a notice, asking them not to attempt a siege, KRV members had arrived near KPSC in two separate groups,” the FIR said.
