Out of the 8.4 lakh students who attended the SSLC exams conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, 73.70% of students have managed to pass the exam.
Two girls from the state have scored a 100% score securing 625 on 625 marks while 11 have scored 624 marks. Srujana D from St Philomena English High School, Anekal Taluk in Bengaluru and Naganjali Parameshwar Naik from Vidyagiri Kalabag, Kumta in Uttara Kannada have both secured 625.
This year's result is higher than last year by 1.8%. In 2018, as many as 71.93% of students passed the exams.
Girls have scored better than boys this year. The pass per cent of girls who appeared for the exams is 82.82% and that of boys is 76.05%.
Based on the pass per cent, the Hassan tops the list. Ramanagara district stands second followed by Bengaluru Rural.
