KSRTC adds 2,500 buses for Dasara holidays

Catering to the festive demand and facilitating easy travel on a long weekend, the KSRTC has deployed 2,500 buses. Besides, the corporation has made elaborate arrangements to manage the sudden influx of passengers.

The extra buses to various destinations within Karnataka and neighbouring states from Bengaluru will ply between October 17 and October 22. These special buses will be operated from Kempegowda bus station, Mysuru Road bus station and Shanthinagar bus station.

Meantime, 150 special buses will be operated exclusively from the Mysuru Road bus station to Mysuru and it is planned to operate another 150 special buses exclusively from Mysuru city to cater to the needs of tourists visiting the tourist or pilgrim centres of Mysuru like Chamundi Hill, KRS dam or Brindavan Gardens, Srirangapatna, Nanjangud and also to places like Madikeri, Mandya, Malavalli, HD Kote, Chamarajanagar, Hunsur, KR Nagar and Gundlupet.

KSRTC has also rolled out special package tour facilities to ferry visitors to tourist destinations around Mysuru.
