Welcoming the tourism season (October to January), the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) has launched special package tours in AC coaches for the benefit of tourists.
North Karnataka-Goa - Tour to North Karnataka heritage places - A five-day-long tour covering heritage places of north Karnataka like Hampi, Hosapete, Badami, Pattadakal, Aihole, Kudalasangama and Vijayapura. The tour starts in Bengaluru every Thursday at 10 pm and ends at 6 am on Monday. The cost is Rs 4,700, per person, which includes transport and lodging.
Goa-Gokarna tour - This is a five-day tour and costs
Rs 5,600 per person. Tour starts on Thursday night and ends on Monday morning. A combination of heritage places and beaches are offered.
Tourists will be taken in Deluxe AC coaches of KSTDC. Advance booking can be done through the KSTDC booking counters, KSRTC, Avtaar and Red Bus portals. People can also visit the KSTDC booking counter at Yeshwantpur and Kempegowda bus stations. One can also book through certified KSTDC travel agents.
