“If Kumaraswamy or any of his family members have not encroached government land, he need not worry about it. Neither me nor Chief Minister Siddaramaiah involved in surveying his land and removal of encroachment. It was being done by the state Revenue Department officials at the direction of the High Court of Karnataka,” Shivakumar told media persons here.

"If me or my family members encroached any land, let Kumaraswamy go to concerned authorities. Now let Kumaraswamy allow officials to discharge their duties instead of blaming the Congress Government," he said.

When asked about Kumaraswamy's statement of criticising Greater Bengaluru, Shivakumar said it would be JD(S) leader and his family members who benefited the most in the decision. His family members have owned large tracts of land in Ramnagar district and now it would fetch huge money, he said.

On internal reservation Shivakumar said "the Congress is committed to implement internal reservation. We have asked all different communities in the Scheduled Caste to sit together and resolve their differences."
