However, residents of the region have to travel nearly 12 kilometers to reach both places because of the lack of a bridge across the stream at Yennehole.

It is a common scene during rainy season that the stream overflows and block the road connectivity at Matadakadi near Hanchikatte in Yennehole. Residents demand a bridge there, as they have to strive to cross the stream during rainy season. Students, farmers and villagers of Yennehole have to travel about 12 kilometers through Ajekaru to reach Hermunde during rainy season.

Though a group of social activists including Mohammed Meera Abbas, lecturer Sundara Poojari, Dinesh, Vishwanath and Ravi were making requests for a bridge at Janaspandana meets, authorities concerned did not respond so far. They have also submitted memorandum to Deputy Commissioner, MLA and to the Zilla Panchayat. Residents in the region have already agreed to offer land for the construction of bridge and development of road.
