Belagavi: The vehicle in which former deputy chief minister and MLA Laxman Savadi had been travelling met with an accident after a goods vehicle collided with it near Darur village in Athani taluk on Monday.
Police said, Savadi and those travelling in the other vehicle escaped unhurt. Savadi was travelling towards Bengaluru and had left for his scheduled programme in another vehicle.
Athani police have registered a case.
