Kudiyara A Muthappa, taluk president, Budakattu Krishikara Sangha, has urged the district administration to allow tourists to visit the Tadiyandamol Hills in the district.

He was addressing a press meet in town on Saturday.

Muthappa said that, in the backdrop of heavy rain and landslides, the district administration had prohibited the entry of visitors to the hilly ranges. “Although the district administration has allowed tourists to visit all other tourist spots, it had still prohibited entry to Tadiyandamol and Cholakunda Hills,” he pointed out.

He said that, following the natural calamities, tribal you and Yuvakapady, Kakkabe, and Napoklu areas have not been getting employment in coffee estates as well as homestays.
