A woman suffered serious burn injuries after being struck by lightning in Kedamullur village on Thursday night.
The injured woman is Yashoda. When she was asleep at her home during midnight, lightning struck her, causing serious burn injuries on the left hand and on the face.
Yashoda has been admitted to the government hospital in Virajpet. The doctor treating her said she is out of danger.
