Speaking to media persons, President of Mangalore Lions Club M Arun Shetty said that the club has chalked out an array of activities to mark its golden jubilee year.
Club has accorded emphasis on socially relevant and innovative projects that have a high utility value. Golden jubilee programme will be held under the chairmanship of Dr M Shantharam Shetty on March 21 at St Aloysius College grounds. The shuttle badminton court at the Lions Seva Mandir has been relaid this year at a cost of Rs 60,000, he added. District Governor Alwyn Patrao was present.
