Bengaluru: The Karnataka Lokayukta has found several irregularities in Dr B R Ambedkar Development Corporation Limited, officials of the anti-corruption body stated on Friday.
In a statement, the Lokayukta stated that the officials and the staff from the corporation's Tumakuru office colluded with officials from its central office in Bengaluru and committed "large-scale irregularities."
After a suo motu case was registered on February 13, the Lokayukta police conducted raids at the corporation’s offices.
Among other things, it was found that there was a lack of important entries in the files regarding the land ownership scheme. Further, entries lacked details of cheques issued after the process of obtaining approval for the scheme.
