Bengaluru: The Karnataka Lokayukta police on Thursday morning launched raids against seven government officials in different parts of the state.

The raids are in connection with disproportionate assets allegations against the officials, sources told DH.

Among those raided are Rajashekar, Project Director, Nirmiti Kendra, Tumakuru; Manjunath, Survey Supervisor, Dakshina Kannada; Renuka Satarle, Dr B R Ambedkar Abhivruddhi Nigama, Vijayapura; Murali TV, Additional Director, Directorate of Urban and Rural Planning, Bengaluru; HR Nataraj, Inspector, Legal Metrology, Bengaluru; Anant Kumar, SDA, Hoskote taluk office; and Umakanth, Shahpur Taluk, Yadgir.

"Twelve locations in Bengaluru, seven in Tumkur, eight in Bengaluru Rural, five in Yadgir and four each in Mangaluru and Vijayapura are being searched," a senior Lokayukta officer said.
