The complaints will be forwarded to the head office in Bangalore for further steps. Staff at the districts offices will give a  computer-generated acknowledgement as soon as the citizens lodge complaints.

The computer-generated acknowledgement will contain details such as complaint number, present status of the complaint, the division which is  looking into the complaint and name, contact number and other details of the officer investigating the complaint. Hence, citizens need not come to Bangalore to lodge the complaints, said a press release from the Lokayukta.
