Karnataka: Mandatory transfer of constables, head constables

Bengaluru: In a letter addressed to the state police chief, Home Minister G Parameshwara has ordered the inter-district transfers of constables and head constables who have completed seven years of service with the Police Department. 

"Transfers in such cases should be considered mandatory, and personnel should be transferred immediately to the chosen districts," he said in the letter dated September 10.
