Hubballi: Kasabapet police in the City arrested a 38-year-old married man for sexually assaulting a minor girl and filming nude videos of the victim.
Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar said the accused Aspak Jogalkoppa was running an electrical repair and xerox shop at KLE Layout in Sharavati Nagar in Kasabapet police station limits, and was luring the minor girl with money and gifts. Recently the grandparents of the girl lodged a complaint with the police for sexually assaulting the girl.
Acting on the case, Kasabapet police, who booked the case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) act, arrested the accused. While investigating the case, the police found nude videos of the victim, and other women in the accused mobile phone.
Sources said that the accused filmed nude videos of several women. However, the police commissioner said the number of victims will come to light only after a thorough investigation.
