It was on July 28, 2005 at 3.30 pm, when the Naxals hurled bombs and grenades at police jeeps which were bound to Hebri from Muniyali via Kabbinale, injuring policemen. After hurling of the bombs, there was an exchange of fire between the police personnel and the naxalites. The naxalites opened fire first and the police returned fire.

For the people of Kabbinale, development is still a dream. With few houses hear and there, no development activities have been undertaken in Mathav after the bombing incident. Kabbinale village comes under Mudradi Gram Panchayat. About 300 families reside in the region. However, the demands of the villagers are yet to be fulfilled.

Mudradi Gram panchayat had distributed solar lamps to the Ashraya and Indira Awas houses. In fact, it had written a letter to the government on the need for development.

However, no development had taken place. Between 2006 and 2009, a sum of Rs 40 lakh was released under Naxal package to the Mudradi Panchayat. Barring the development of Nirani, Balladi roads, no development had taken place so far.
Most of the residents in Kabbinale belongs to Malekudiya family and most of them are poor.

The students of the region requires high school and a hostel. Electricity connection to Mathav, Mundani, Mudsalu, Parikallu, bridge to Jeddugulelu and Balcharu along with road are some of the demands of the villagers.
