The EVS38 Summit is a  global event particularly focused on electric mobility and cutting-edge vehicle technologies.

Addressing a gathering of international stakeholders he highlighted Karnataka’s robust electric vehicle (EV) policy, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and thriving startup ecosystem.

He also held a high-level strategic meeting with Martin Lundstedt, President and Chief Executive Officer of Volvo Group, asking to scale up its investments in the state.

Despite Karnataka being the first state to launch an EV policy in 2017, Tamil Nadu is the largest manufacturer of EVs in India.
