Chikkamagaluru: A meeting of labour leaders with the chief minister would soon be held with regard to salary revision of transport employees, said Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy. The meeting is expected to be held before the Winter Session of the Legislative Assembly, he added.
"Apart from the issue of wage revision of employees, there is no other problem in the department. I met the Chief Minister five days ago and held talks in this regard. He has promised to convene a meeting shortly," said the minister.
"I do not have any knowledge on Cabinet expansion. Siddaramaiah had left for Delhi to speak to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various issues. It is customary to meet the AICC president during the visit to Delhi. I don't know what discussions took place. I have only read the news in the newspapers," Minister Reddy said.
