Speaking after releasing the KCET results on Saturday, he said that his department was not aware of the completion of the investigation and the charge sheet by the police.

“A couple of days ago, we came to know about the charge sheet. We are not aware of when exactly they (the police) filed it. I think, following my recent statement about my plans to meet the city police chief, they communicated about the charge sheet. But we will examine it thoroughly,” the minister said.

Legal opinion

Sudhakar further said that his department will seek legal opinion on the charge sheet and if necessary, demand for further investigation from a different agency.

“The charge sheet is said to be of 5,000 pages and we will take a call after discussing with legal experts,” he added.

“We will get a copy and study it comprehensively,” Sudhakar said.
